Communism, once a people’s movement theorized by Karl Max has now become something so diabolical that threatens to swallow the entire world into a grim chaos. After the debacle of the USSR in 1991, the cold war came to an end. The communist states disintegrated worldwide. Many other communist countries apart from the USSR also began to deteriorate. Closer home, China adopted a dubious concept of becoming a quasi-Communist country, i.e., while the economy was opened for private investment and private ownership, the politics continued to be governed by the policy of one-party system. China did become quasi-communist economically, it also became quasi-dictatorial when the government suppressed its own people and when Xi-Jinping declared himself the president of People’s Republic of China for life.
Communism was at its peak in India during Indira Gandhi’s time when she, with the help of KGB, managed to get rid of Lal Bahadur Shastri and grab power. She then began a chain of nationalization of private assets. All private banks became public. Tata Airlines became Indian Airlines and Air India. Red tape had increased and private organizations and entities were seen with suspicion. While she and her party were being funded by the KGB with suitcases full of money arrived at her doorstep, the economy of the country continued to deteriorate. By the end of the 1980s our economy was shattered and by the time we reached 1988, India had already become a begging bowl in front of the world. It was the LPG policy (Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization) of the Narasimha Rao govt that saved the country from getting into the grip of an economic chaos.
As the country saw economic progress for about two decades, the Left lost its importance and sheen and went losing seats after seats in almost all states barring Kerala. After a rule of more than 25 years, the Left were finally uprooted from Bengal by Mamata Banerji as well. The Left continue to enjoy power in Kerala. But it has less to do with the economic policies of the left but more to do with the fact that the state enjoys free income in the form of tourism that the state gets from both home-grown tourists and travellers from abroad.
After Narendra Modi came to power for a second term in 2019, the fear among the radical Islamists and the leftists has grown deeper. The Left has become restive. And along with them another group has grown restless: The Radical fundamentalists of Islam. Today, religion has lost its sheen. Through the world, religion alone cannot survive and be a source of power. Today, religion is not seen as a source of power. The whole of Europe which was once ruled by the church is now a democratic powerhouse. Religion never dominated industrial states like the USA or Japan. In communist states too, religion was never a powerful tool. The only countries where power is in sync with religion, or religion rules politics is in the Islamic countries. To ensure their power is not corrupted, they have destroyed all minorities in these Islamic states.
But the pressures of development and democracy, the two pillars of capitalism, is putting pressure on these Islamic states and choking them. They are forced to adopt modernization. Look at all Islamic countries which have embraced development or had to do so. Indonesia, Turkey, Bangladesh etc., here radical Islam is finding even lesser and lesser support. Saudi Arabia and many other Arabic countries are forced to embrace modernization and open their economy and ease the restrictions on the population slowly and gradually.
But those Islamic countries which failed to modernize has gone from good to bad to worse. Take the case of Afghanistan and Iraq. In the 1960s, women walked in skirts. By the beginning of the 21st century all of them were covered in hijab or burqa. Take the case of a modern state like Pakistan. The NATO member was considered a very progressive state when it gained independence in 1947 but that lasted for a very short time. Once the radicalization of Pakistan began, the country is caught in the grim grips of poverty and orthodoxy.

Until a few years back, radical Islam had lost its grip in those countries which are non-Islamic but a considerably big Muslim population exists. The modern Muslims embraced modernization, shunned hijabs and burqas, went to clubs to enjoy and asserted rights of their own. They shunned religious values and became pro-democracy and pro-capitalists. And then you has a well planned execution of a series of steps in the form of bomb blasts or other aggressive actions that turned the non-Muslim population against Muslims and they began to view the latter as ‘terrorists.’ This debilitated the Muslim population that was steering towards modernization and now they found themselves being directed towards those very institutions they were trying to shun: ones that belong to radical Islam. Once again, they became their champion and their protector. Once again, we began to see large chunks of radical Muslim men blocking roads in the name of prayers that they had to offer. Once again, we saw large number of these Muslim radicals capturing the political and democratic symbols of these countries and making a case for Islam.

The governments of these countries, such as the UK, France, the USA, Australia were then forced to take actions all institutions, religious or otherwise, who were promoting radical Islam. A few, like New Zealand chose to take compassionate grounds.
In India, the story is no different. Once Nehru died in 1964, with him, sanity in the Indian National Congress Party died. Lal Bahadur Shastri took over, but was soon made to rest in the arms of death within a couple of years. And then we saw the emergence of Indira Gandhi. But who is Indira Gandhi? Was she even a Gandhi? Born as Indira Priyadarshini Nehru as a child, Indira was always groomed for politics. Growing up she fell in love with Firoze Khan and married him, and in the process embraced Islam. But then it would have been a political suicide in a country where more than 90% were Hindus.
On the advice offered by Pryadarshini’s father Jawaharlal Nehru and other political experts, Firoze Khan was made to adopt the name Gandhi and Indira Priyadarshini Nehru adopted the name Gandhi as well. And thus, a Gandhi family was born that had nothing to do with the Mahatma - Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi.
Later on, Indira’s lineage, from Rajiv to Priyanka and Rahul, this pseudo Gandhi family found themselves leaning more towards Islam than Hinduism. After all, Hinduism was a threat to their being in power, especially when the truth would be out.
When Vajpayee came to power in 1996, Congress began to see its ground being shaken. The jolt was already provided by a non-Nehruvian prime minister in the form of Narasimha Rao, and now when BJP managed to form government at the centre, this rattled the Congress camp.
Thus, began even a greater radicalization of Islam in the country. The radicals were already being appeased. The Muslim Personal Law Board was formed to legitimize all the evils existing within Islam. Polygamy among Muslim men became legal, patriarchy within the Muslim community continued to find patronage. Triple Talaq enjoyed legitimacy and was reinforced when the Rajiv Gandhi amended the constitution after the Shah Bano case and gave triple-talaq a constitutional legitimacy.
After Vajpayee came to power, congress government in different states began funding madrasas and Islamic institutions like mosques. The Waqf Board were given financial incentives. The Ram Mandir matter was delayed. Article 370 was supported and the Muslim voters began to be consolidated. Thus, began a very dangerous political engineering that ensured that even if the Muslims were in minority, by fragmenting the Hindu votes and consolidating the Muslim votes, any party or candidate could come to power.
Then the congress party began coming closer to Pakistan. Otherwise how could the Pakistanis army find the courage to attack India during the Kargil war if it was it not for the support from inside India. And then Pakistan attacked the Indian parliament. I hope you remember 26/11. And if this was not enough, the Vajpayee government was thrown out by just one vote. Thanks to the social engineering formula that the Congress Party used.
And now we have Narendra Modi: a more suave, sophisticated and a skilful politician who has proved his detractors wrong many a time. The three-times successful Chief Minister of Gujarat now has an arduous task of leading the country as the Prime Minister of India. Successfully winning the second term to office, Mr Modi has been quick to task. As soon as he resumed office, article 370 was nullified and created two union territories out of Jammu and Kashmir. Resolved the long pending Ram Mandir issue when the supreme court passed the decision rightfully in favour of the Hindus. Made triple-talaq illegal and brought the CAA to effect.
He resolved those issues within 6 months which the Congress govt could not in the last 60 years.
And in the past 6 years, he took India to that position where no one dreamt off. Rubbing shoulders with big wigs of world politics, Mr Modi took the country off to a different charter, one that called for development in the truest sense, not a bigoted growth that we had seen before. After the liberalization of the Indian economy, India has grown and did grow. But somehow, we have not seen the benefits of growth dripping down to the poor. Such a case had to be. After all the same black money was being routed through Mauritius and Singapore and being invested into India. It was not capitalism in the truest sense. Mr Modi wanted to change all that. Under his governance, Gujarat had grown by leap and bounds. Not only were the industrialists happy in the cities, the farmers prospered as well. Bringing that kind of wholesome development at the national level is going to be no easy task. And this kind of development would end two kinds of bigotry in the country: the ideologies of the left and the radical practices of Islam. The left prospered on a backward India, the same backward India that also legitimized fundamentalists of all religions.
Under Modi, it is not the Muslims who have to fear. When he was the chief minister of Gujarat for 15 years, did we see mass exodus of Muslims from Gujarat. Agreed 2002 happened. But what after that. Today, Muslims continue to enjoy the support of the government that has been formed by the BJP. It is just that the Islam that exists in Gujarat is devoid of radicalism. The Muslims in Gujarat are now more progressive and participate in the economic wheel of the state. Radicalism has been crushed in Gujarat. People are progressive. Small businessmen have found success. They do not rely on black money alone thus ending the nexus between politics and corporates. There is no room for leftist ideology in Gujarat.
Today with Modi at the helm, radicals and fundamentalists within Islam are alarmed. The leftists are alarmed. Triple Talaq has come to an end. Uniform Civil Code is on the table. That will end the Muslim personnel Law board. How can we call ourselves secular when we have different laws for different religious groups? It should be one country and one law.
The kind of development that Modi is unleashing frightens the left. Agreed jobs are down. But no one will tell you entrepreneurs have increased. Now people are self-employed. Self-employed and entrepreneurs are not counted in the jobs data survey. This is empowering the people directly. All social benefits go directly to the poor, thus cutting out middle men. This has frightened both the left and the congress party.

Today both, radical Islam and the left have joined hands. It is a marriage of sorts. Both are fighting for survival and both have become militant. The CAA, which is for the minorities abroad is being opposed by both through violent protests, destroying public property and killing innocents.

Now that the people are becoming aware about CAA, the evil alliance Is failing. The protesters do not know what are they protesting against. Some are talking about JNU violence and the fee hike, some are talking about LGBTQ rights, some are talking about throwing out indigenous Muslims, some are talking about economy, some are talking about women rights and then some diabolically are bringing in Free Kashmir. Some are even calling for Jinnah’s form of freedom, which calls for the burial of the Hindus and Hindustan.
Today the protests are confusing. The only think which is blatantly visible is the nexus of the radical Islam and communists.
Ironically communism is banned in Pakistan. Islam is banned in China and the Chinese government is persecuting the Muslims there. But together, Pakistan and China support radical Islam and communists in the country. That is why this is an unholy marriage between radical Islam and communism. Both hate each other. But now both have come together to stop liberty, freedom, economic progress and destruction of the clutches of religion. The marriage between the leftists and Islamic fundamentalists is a marriage of necessity, it is a necessity for survival.
Even in the USA, for the sake of survival, the communist elements there are working in favour of Islamization. Even in Israel during this election, we saw radical Islam and communism come together to become a potent force against a right-wing government.
France has already seen a series of terrorist attacks. Even other European countries are not safe. Australia and New Zealand are not safe.
Russia was forced to accept private enterprises. Though farcical, we do see democratic elections happening there. China has become an economic powerhouse only because it accepted capitalism. But now, even it is shrinking because this economic development has not touched the lives of common people but got concentrated into the hands of those in power.
China recently loaned a lot of money to Sri Lanka. The previous government in Sri Lanka very dubiously accepted the Chinese terms and gave away their port to China. What was the aftermath? A serious of terrorist attacks in Sri Lanka saw the killing of many of the non-Muslim majority.
Today communist China has literally got Islamic Pakistan on its tenterhooks. And this unholy marriage will not only destroy Pakistan, but also is a bad omen for the entire world.

Today the country is caught in the grip of chaos. Who are behind this chaos? If you look closely, once again you find radical Islam and leftist militant. World wide too, radical Islam and communism are responsible for mass killings. Today they hold the country to ransom forcing the government to bend by burning public property and killing innocents. This is not protest, this is black mail. And worse still, radical Islam and leftist militants are using children for this blackmail.
It is high time the people recognize this unholy marriage between Islamic fundamentalists and leftist militants. If they have become violent, we must deal with them violently. If they are outspoken and criticise progress, we must out speak them. Revenge was made to be perceived evil by those who promote illegitimate actions while simultaneously ensuring there is no backlash. If these Islamic fundamentalists and leftists are going to become a threat to India’s security, we must act against them. They have the direct support of ISI and often they have been writing in support of this unholy marriage between Islamic fundamentalists and leftist militants thus proving that these elements are nothing but the sleeper cells of Pakistan.
We must rise. Our silence helps support their evil agenda. The silence of the fragmented Hindus is the reason why a handful of Muslim brigands came to the country and ruled us for more than 500 years. Remember, if you don’t fight for your today, nobody will fight for your tomorrow.

Born to an Indian Air Force Officer, Mithali Raj has had a very interesting mix of life during her upbringing. She belongs to a Tamil Family, was born in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, attended school and college in Secunderabad and now lives in Hyderabad.

Today everyone knows Mithali Raj. Most importantly it is because of her that Indian Women’s Cricket Team is known. Mithali was that glamourous factor to the women’s cricket team because of which people began to watch their matches on television. But her success has not come without cost.

Currently India women’s team ODI captain, Mithali was named among the probables in the 1997 Women's Cricket World Cup when she was just 14, but couldn't make it to the final squad debuted internationally in the year 1999 in an ODI match against Ireland in which she scored an unbeaten 114. She made her Test debut in 2002 against South Africa at Lucknow. On 17 August 2002, at the age of 19, in her third Test, she broke Royton’s record of world's highest individual Test score of 209, scoring a new high of 214 against England in the second and final Test at County Ground, Taunton. Mithali made her T20 debut in 2006 against England. Since then, Mithali has had a long and arduous journey and her faith in herself has kept her going. Today Indian Women Cricket is synonymous with her name as she holds multiple records to her name.

ODI records:

Mithali Raj has scored 6,720 runs in the 203 international ODI matches at the average of 51.29 which includes 7 centuries and 52 half centuries. In the ODIs; the highest score of Mithali was 125 not out. Mithali Raj has also taken 8 wickets in the ODIs .

Test Match Records:

Mithali Raj has scored 663 runs in 16 innings of 10 test matches which includes a double century (214) a century and 4 half centuries. She has very good average in the test matches i.e. 51 runs per match.

Mithali in T-20 International:

Mithali is the only woman cricketer who scored 2000 runs in Twenty20 Internationals (T20I). She has scored 2364 runs in the 84 innings at the average of 37 runs per match. Highest score of Mithali was 97 runs not out in the T-20I. Although she could not manage to score any century in the T-20I but she has scored 17 half centuries in this format. Mithali has taken retirement from the T20I.

Let us look at her other achievements.

  1. Mithali is the highest run-scorer in woman's international cricket.
  2. She is the first women cricketer to score 7 consecutive half-centuries in ODI's. Overall, Javed Miandad is the only player ahead of Mithali who scored 9 consecutive half centuries.
  3. Mithali holds the record for the 2nd highest score (214 runs) in women's Test cricket.
  4. 4She is the highest run scorer in the ODIs i.e. 6720 runs. She superseded England's Charlotte Edwards (5992 runs).
  5. 5. On 1 February 2019; Mithali became the first woman to play 200 ODI matches.
  6. Mithali Raj is the only player (male or female) who have captained India in more than one ICC ODI World Cup final. she did so two time in 2017 and 2005.
  7. She is the 1st Indian & 5th woman cricketer overall to score over 1,000 World Cup runs.
  8. 8. At the 2013 Women's World Cup, Raj was the No.1 Cricketer in the ODI chart among women. She scored 100s: 1 and 50s: 4 in Test cricket, 100s: 5 and 50s: 50 with best bowling of 3/4 in ODIs and 50s: 10 in T20s.
  9. In February 2017, she became the second player to score 5,500 runs in WODIs. Raj is the first player to captain most matches for India in ODI and T20I.
  10. In July 2017, she became the first player to score 6,000 runs in WODIs. She led the Indian team to the  final of the 2017 Women's Cricket World Cup where the team lost to England by nine runs.
  11. In December 2017, she was named as one of the players in the ICC Women's ODI Team of the Year.
  12. In October 2018, she was named in India's squad for the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20 tournament in the West Indie
  13. In October 2019, she had another feather to her feats. She led the Indian Women cricket team to their 100th ODI win after winning the series against South Africa 3-0.

However, Mithali Raj’s career has had her own share of troubles and controversies.  During the Women’s World Cup 2002, Raj was ill with a strain of typhoid thus seriously hampering India's progress. During the 2018 ICC Women's World Twenty20. She accused the coach Ramesh Powar and BCCI COA member Diana Edulji in a letter to BCCI of bias, humiliation and not including her in the T20 world cup semifinals. Powar in turn criticized that Raj had threatened that she would retire from the game of the cricket when asked to play down the batting order.[45] He also accused Raj of 'blackmailing and pressurising coaches' apart from causing division in the team during the recently concluded World T20. He added, "despite being a senior player in the team she puts in minimum inputs in team meetings. She could not understand & adapt to the team plan. She ignored her role and batted for own milestones. Lack of keeping the momentum going which was putting extra pressure on other batters."

It is sad that like Mary Kom, Mithali was made to suffer by the bureaucracy in the India’s Sports divisions. A play of such a magnitude and who devoted so much to the game had to go through so much of pain and suffering by the idiotic bureaucracy is plainly condemnable. However, we are glad that she got her due and she is back at her game and at the helm of affairs.

In September 2019, Mthali took retirement from T20 sports so that she can concentrate on the Women’s Cricket World Cup  in 2021 and win it, a dream she hopes to fulfil before she bids her final adieu to the game.

For her contribution to Cricket, Mithali has been awarded at national and international level. Notably in 2003, she was felicitated with the Arjuna Award, in 2015 with Padma Sri, in 2017 with Youth Sports Icon Excellence Award, and in 2017 she also recognized as ‘Vogue sportsperson of the Year.’

Although not much is known about her man in life, Mithali has indeed confessed to be a bibliophile and an avid book lover. While she has to wait for her batting turn to come, Mithali is usually seen turning the pages of book that, according to her, keeps her confident and sane.

Mithali Raj will be an icon for many years to come for both boys and girls alike. Like a true warrior, she has overcome many odds to succeed. We look forward to her bringing the Women’s World Cup 2021 home as she prepares herself and her team mates for the battle that is long overdue.

Her story will continue to live on as a biopic is being made on her that will be starring Tapsee Pannu.

In a shameful act, a radical muslim mob gathered around the Nankana Saheb Gurduwara, desecrating the religious ethos of the place and started pelting stones at the gurudwara and in the process brought damages to the holy symbol of the Sikhs. The lives of the Sikhs inside the gurudwara continued to be in danger when the MEA, India intervened and called on its counterpart in Islamabad and asked it to take swift action to end the siege of the Gurudwara.

Incidentally, a few days ago, Jagjeet Kaur, a Sikh teen in Pakistan was abducted, converted into islam and married to a local goon there. The elder brother of the kidnapper was the one who was leading the seize of the Gurudwara demanding that the name of the Nankana Saheb Gurudwara be renamed to  Gulaam-e-Mustafa.

What is worrying is the silence and inaction of the Pakistani government and administration against these Islamic radicals who continue to make lives of minorities in Pakistan a living hell. After a prolonged period of time Imran Khan releases a statement through twitter with false claims and doctored videos.

The worse part is the reaction of the congress party in India. At first Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi tried to downplay the incident when finally, Sonia Gandhi had to finally release a statement asking Imran Khan to act against the miscreants and stop the seize of the gurudwara.

Ironically, when the Nankana Saheb Gurudwara was being attacked, Mr Laughter Challenge Navjot Singh Siddhu was no where to be seen or heard and shied away from the camera refusing to give a statement.

The Nankana Saheb violence highlights the urgency of the Citizenship Amendment Act and that the government of India should take swift action to protect the lives of minorities in the neighbouring countries of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The Nankana Saheb incident was accompanied by another violent incident. Ravinder Singh, the brother of Harmeet Singh, the first sikh anchor of Pakistan was brutally killed in Peshawar. This is nothing but an act of religious persecution. Sikhs and Hindus that are left in Pakistan are too afraid to speak up against radical muslims and fundamentalists who have been regularly persecuting minorities and abducting their daughters and forcefully converting them into Islam and marrying them off to muslims. The population of minorities has already reduced from 30% to about 2% in Pakistan. Incedetally, Khalistani leadership was seen during the siege of Nankana Saheb Gurudwara and they seemed to be supporting the radical muslims.

Let is become vocal against the anti CAA protestors and shut their mouth and ask the government to draw up an action plan to save the minorities of Pakistan. IF that is not done soon, not a single Sikh or Hindu or Christian will be left alive in Pakistan just like how all the Jews have been wiped out in Pakistan.

Yesterday was a black day in JNU. Not because violence happened, but because of the false narrative behind the violence. It so happened that the registration of new students and new teachers’ recruitment was taking place in JNU. The left leaning AISA led JNUSU members gathered around to sabotage the process. They had called in their supporters from Jamila Milia Islamia to help them sabotage the process of the recruitment of the new teachers. ABVP intervened and soon, lo and behold, there is violence and from nowhere masked men appeared on the campus and started beating up students. Even the security forces confirm that while the left-wing students were protesting against the recruitment of the new teachers, the security guards were beaten and stones were hurled at them.

Now there are a few remarkable coincidences. While the violence is going on in the campus, Yogendra Yadav, a stalwart of left ideology in India is already at the campus demanding entry. Now you might think that this guy, who lives in Gurgaon, how could he reach the campus so soon. Soon the left-wing students release videos of masked men roaming around and girls running around. And the girls start running around the moment the camera turns towards them and suddenly videos are up of students who are badly beaten are shown with blood streaming. The amount of blood that streams from their head, if it were to be true, will cause loss of consciousness. But no, their first priority is record everything on video.

It is also remarkable that Priyanka Gandhi, a VVIP, suddenly has enough time to visit the students who are hurt at AIIMS. How was Priyanka ready so quickly that within an hour of the violence she is present at AIIMS? She is still unable to find time to meet the families of the children who have died in Kota?

And without wasting any time, the left brigade of Bollywood, the politicians are all criticising the violence and linking the violence to ‘fascist’ Amit Shah when Amit Shah is in another city busy with another responsibility. Suddenly the government has become violent and is a student hating government. All this while these very left students and Islamic radicals happily burnt buses and destroyed violence during the CAA protests?

Suddenly, the IT cell activists of the opposition parties are acted and the social media is full of memes condemning the violence in JNU and calling BJP a fascist government.

This JNU violence is staged because the left-wing students and teachers wanted to sabotage the process of selection of new teachers. More so, just a day before we received the news of violence at Nankana Saheb Gurduwara in Pakistan which had left the Hindus and Sikhs alike fuming. More so, Ravinder Singh, brother of the first Sikh anchor (Harmeet Singh) in Pakistan, is killed.

The Nankana Saheb Gurudwara violence puts the Congress led opposition in a bad light and provides legitimacy to the Citizenship Amendment Act which promises to offer citizenship to persecuted minorities in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan.

In order to hide the failures of the anti-CAA protests and that the violence and arsonist activities committed during the anti-CAA protests had failed to incite the Hindu mobs to resorting to violence, the left wing paid activists found a new formula to play the victim card.

Let us not fall into the leftist propaganda and wait for the Police to come up with the investigation report and the truth shall soon be out. Till then save yourself from these leftists propaganda.

Protests, rioting, fasting and even holding the administrative office to ransom. These incidents related to University campus is common. But what if I told you the State, the government of the country and the legal system bows down to the fundamentalists of Islam and sentences an academic liberal to death sentence, then you might think I am talking about Syria or some region where Taliban still exists. I must tell you; you are wrong again.

In Pakistan, University lecturer Junaid Hafeez, 33, was sentenced to death on 21.12.2019 on blasphemy charges. He has been in prison, mostly in solitary confinement, while awaiting trial for six years.

What was his crime?

Some fundamentalist students at the Bahauddin Zakariya University, where Hafeez teaches in the English department, accused Hafeez of being quite ‘liberal’ in his views when it came to teaching subject matters. This essentially translates into saying that Hafeez should have been orthodox and fundamentalist when it came to teaching.

Soon he was framed in a false case in which he was accused of running a Facebook closed group called "So-Called Liberals of Pakistan." Under a fake name where he insulted Prophet Muhammed.

What was the insult? This has never been revealed? And even if it was, sentencing to death sentence is plainly inhuman.

Junaid Hafeez is no ordinary scholar. He is a Fulbright Scholar who returned from the USA to teach in Pakistan. Alas, he ended up being targeted by the fundamentalists.

Pakistan’s blasphemy law is rather stringent and leaves it ambiguous when it comes to defining what is exactly blasphemy and what is not thus leaving to interpretation by the judiciary, who usually under the pressure of the fundamentalists and the radical group tend to give in. The word ‘INDEPENDENT’ and “JUDICIARY’ don’t go along at all in Pakistan.

His case hangs in the limbo and Hafeez’s lawyer has promised to appeal to the higher court while his family members await anxiously.

A few from the international community have raised their voices but most of the media houses are silent. Within Pakistan, offices of media houses like The Dawn have been attacked and people have protested violently.

Who will save Islam from the radicals when the academics are not safe? You corrupt the brain and the entire body goes berserk. No wonder, the learned, progressive minds within Islam choose to remain quiet while the fundamentalists reign supreme.

The government lays with its fists closed and the Imran Khan government stands emasculated.

Pakistan's blasphemy laws have come under hefty criticism, as they have often been used to target minorities, activists, and to settle personal vendettas. Although no one has yet been executed under the laws, about 40 people are currently sitting on death row due to blasphemy convictions.

According to rights groups, around 1,549 blasphemy cases were registered in Pakistan between 1987 and 2017. More than 75 people have been killed extra-judicially after blasphemy allegations. Some of them were even targeted after being acquitted in blasphemy cases by courts.

Pakistan's Christians and other religious minorities have often complained of legal and social discrimination in the country. In the past few years, many Christians and Hindus have been brutally murdered over unproven blasphemy allegations.

In one case, a young Christian girl with Down syndrome was accused in August 2012 of burning pages upon which verses of the Koran were inscribed.

In 2017, a 23-year-old journalism student in Pakistan was killed by a vigilante mob over allegations of blasphemy.

Last year, Asia Bibi, a Christian woman, was acquitted on appeal and left the country, provoking violent protests across Pakistan.

Rimsha Masih was taken into police custody and only released months later, when charges were dropped. The case caused an uproar in her hometown and beyond, and sparked riots and violence against Christians in the region. In 2013, she and her family relocated to Canada.

In 2014, a Christian couple was beaten to death for allegedly desecrating a copy of the Koran. Their bodies were subsequently burned in a brick kiln.

In September last year, a Christian man in Pakistan was sentenced to death for sharing "blasphemous material" on WhatsApp.

As such, The Citizenship Amendment Act should be implemented swiftly and the Indian Government should try and take the minorities out of Pakistan as soon as possible and give them a home in India. The same CAA should also be extended to the people who are being murdered in the name of blasphemy law in Pakistan. It is our humanitarian duty to protect those who are being executed on baseless charges.

6th of December,2019 was one of the bloodiest days of civil India in 2019 when we saw a number of cities flare up during the protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. What became a common sight was children throwing stones at the Police, misled youngsters destroying public property and burning down buses. What was central to these rioting was skull caps and beards, a symbol associated with Muslims. We see on different platforms leaders of Aam Admi Party, Trinamool Congress, Congress Party, Samajwadi Party and others inciting the common man to rise against the government. Somewhere along these incitements, the true narrative is lost and the revenge for Triple Talaq, Ram Mandir and article 370 is heard.

Scores of people go on a rampant as Police becomes aggressive as a reaction and for a need to control the riots. False and maligned narratives is then spread through media which is leaves people berserk.

The opposition parties seem to be succeeding for a while before another wave of strong narrative in favour of CAA starts dominating the streets and this time no buses are burnt and public property is destroyed.

The public watches it all. The public is fool no more for they are not dependent on only the traditional media where the jackals howl to glorify the false victims while lamenting the true and honest. The public knows it all because social media has come to rescue it. And this time, the silent majority speaks, supports the police and allows them to crack down the rioters and meting them out a tough position. The tough words spoken by CM Yogi are applauded and shops of the rioters are sealed as many are booked and put in jails. Who won? Most importantly, who lost?

The Left fed a false narrative, became violent against those who spoke for the government, cried, played the victim game and then suddenly went silent and disappeared. At the end who won and who lost?

The paid activists of IT cell went home laughing for as long as Modi remains at the helm of affairs, their pockets will be full because the opposition parties will continue to feed them and this even more. Each word of theirs on social media endangered the life of the innocent protestor while hurting a naïve bystander or a security personnel who was doing his duty. Who won? And most importantly, who lost.

And now it has come to light how, PFI(Popular Front of India), a new face of SIMI along with many other outfits had received funding from foreign sources, including Turkey and Pakistan, and 25 of their members had already been arrested and the whole organization was being arrested. They played out their agenda leaving the Muslim community vulnerable. Who won? And most importantly, who lost?

Struggling Bollywood actors lend their names to the cause based on fallacious grounds and who themselves did not have any understanding of the Citizenship amendment act stole the limelight and made their names chanted by the media. They are cosy in their Mumbai Homes leaving the ordinary Muslims to face the brunt of the police and the general public. Who won? And most importantly who lost?

The poor Muslim community which continues to be ghettoed by its very own leaders only to be used for political gains is back into the limelight. Scores of innocent and naïve Muslims walk down the road of violence understanding little about the Act and basing their views on the false narrative fed to them by the leaders of the political party. They are used like toilet paper and left uncared as the anti CAA movement fails to general support of the general public. The activists have pocketed their daily wages and are gone. But Mother Rashida waits for her son who has been booked for rioting.

The opposition leaders have destroyed the muslim community in India. Now every one looks at them with suspicion. People fear going through muslim dominated areas as they fear they might be flamed down.  Today the cause of the muslims have become insignificant and the rest of the country begins to look at them as the extra baggage the burden of which they have been carrying for so long. In short muslims are now being hated in the country. Things had changed after 911, 2002, and December 11. The ghost of ostracization is back and this will force the muslims to go deeper into their ghettos. Any chance of modernization of the muslim community is now destroyed. The opposition leaders had their last laugh and they have left the scene but the ordinary muslim continues to cry. Because of a select view, their entire religious community will be seen with suspicion.

The fear of losing their homes may have been false before, but those educated and wise among the muslim community know very well that after the anti-CAA riots, their fear may become real. And for this it is not the saffron brigade to be blamed but their own leaders in whom they had invested so much of their trust.

“But how can you hate communism?” I was asked once by an infant little mind who was besotted to the ideals of communism. I don’t blame him. The ideals of equality enshrined in the teachings of Karl Marx can entice every middle class and poor person. But in practice, let us understand why communism fails to execute its very own teachings. The fact is, the large mass of the people, by itself, cannot form a government. Therefore, there is going to be a political party which will be representative of the people. But then, how many political parties can we have. The answer is one. Therefore, when we essentially say that everything will be of the people, we are essentially saying everything will be of the that singular party that represents the people. So essentially, we have created a dictatorial regime by choice. And when you look at the present-day China, Xi Jinping has declared himself the president of People’s republic of China for life. Even the likes of Venezuela, one of the richest countries in the world in terms of oil, is suffering today because of its communist regime. Today, all communist regimes in the world have turned dictatorial in nature.

In India too, the trend is quite similar. People here have vehemently supported right wing parties and are inclined towards them. Fearing extinction, the left leaning people have started to supported anything that is against the right wing or the ideologies that support the right wing or are supported by the right wing. What has Hindutva got to do with left or right wing? Since BJP’s ideologies are shaped by Hindutva, the Left in India have decided to oppose anything and everything that is related to Hindutva. Even if that means supporting political parties with corrupt ideologies or for that matter Islamic ideologies. The left in India have gone one step further to support even those ideologies that are antinational and work in the favour of Pakistan and China. They pay more respect to Imran Khan and Xi Jinping than our very own prime minister. Even Hindutva symbols are not spared.

The Communist Party of India which was once against the Congress Party and for which the Congress party represented a symbol of corruption have not become one of the biggest allies of the Congress Party. Even in West Bengal, the CPI seems to have no problem with Mamta Bannerji, once CPI’s biggest rival in West Bengal. This is nothing but political opportunism.

There was once a need to lean towards communism. When Nehru decided to lay the foundation stone of the Non Aligned Movement, he was hailed for not siding with the communists USSR or the capitalists USA. But when a bigger threat in the form of Pakistan as a NATO member emerged, Nehru had no choice but to lean towards the USSR and offer it certain concessions. Lal Bahadur Shashtri promised a more liberal regime that would be good for the nation, but his sudden and mysterious death and the draconian rise of Indira Gandhi led to a more diabolical rise of the Left wings who seems to have captured all important positions within the government, the art and the intellectual segments of our country. The result was: India was reduced to become a beginning bowl in front of the world until the Narasimha Rao govt rescued the country by opening its doors in 1991 to LPG: Liberalization, Privatization and Globalization. Since then the country has progressed by leaps and bounds. Alas, Narasimha Rao never got his due respect from the Congress Party.

Today, the Left wing will support anything and everything that is against the right wing, Capitalism-leaning, BJP. Today, the most number of youths joining the ISIS has been seen from Kerala, a state ruled by the communist regime. Yet the state seems to be doing nothing about it.

Infiltration is a huge problem within the country. The CAA, NRC and NPR are work towards ensuring that the infiltrators are kept out and thrown out. Yet, the Left opposes these initiatives vehemently. More so, they spread lies to provoke the entire nation against these initiatives. The left wing’s poster girl, Arunadhati Roy has even gone one step ahead and asked people to submit false information the National Population’s Register (NPR) and she went even further suggesting that they use the 1978 convicted rapists’ name Ranga and Billa as their own names. Shouldn’t such speeches be taken as acts of sedition?

India responds to terrorist activities with Balakot Strikes and the surgical strikes, and the left oppose it. They even question the Supreme Court when it announces a judgement against a terrorist. JNU today has become a cradle of antinational activities. Najeeb, who went missing a few months ago, is said to have allegedly joined the ISIS.

The Communists were once a vital force to reckon with. There were genuine issues that they stood with. The left was a voice with whom the poor and the weaker sections of the society associated with. Today they are merely prepaid activists. Where ever there is money to be made through activism, you see the left protesting vehemently. The so-called peace-loving left is did not leave an opportunity to attack an instrument of the government, Arif Khan, the governor of Kerala. Today, Areef Habib, the attacker is being celebrated by both: the followers of the communist parties and the members of radical Islam.

Today the left in India are nothing but hypocrites. They accuse others of intolerance while they are most violent. They accuse others of lying while they are the ones who spread the falsest news. They accuse the government of not doing enough for the economy while they are the ones who hold the country to ransom.

This must stop. The once rational mindset of the left has gone berserk. They must get their acts together or risk complete uprooting from Indian politics. Their presence is necessary but not at the cost of national interest. It is high time the Left start walking on the path that Karl Marx had dictated and not on the path that is decided by the highest bidder.

Once considered Indian politics’ poster boy, Prashant Kishor is all guns blazing against the BJP and is leaving no stone unturned in crucifying the BJP, especially over the Citizenship Amendment Act(CAA).
But who is Prashant Kishor? He was the man who was once credited for the rise of Narendra Modi led BJP to power in 2014. Prashant Kishore, who himself struggled from the roots to rise up the ladders in BJP became of its best strategists. Even Karan Thapar has once claimed that Prashant Kishore made Modi watch his infamous video with Karan Thapar more than a hundred times to groom him.

So what went wrong that he had to leave BJP? It is believed that a small feud occurred between Prashant and Amit Shah, the then party president because of which Prashant Kishor had to leave BJP. Was this a big loss to BJP, let us find out?

After leaving BJP, Kishor soon formed I-PAC, on the lines of the US lobby groups, to become one of the first kinds of political consultants for hire in India. Soon he was seen working with Nitish Kumar and brokering a deal with RJD by virtue of which BJP was kept out of power and Nitish Kumar retained power once again in Bihar. Then in 2016, he crafted another success in Punjab when the Amrinder Singh government came to power. Even in 2019 The YSR govt credits its full majority success in Andhra Pradesh to Prashant Kishor.

If that is not all, Prashant Kishor has become a source of many sore points for BJP. He was seen with Mamta Bannerji whom he has already promised to work for in the upcoming state elections.

Prashant was also seen with the AAP leadership in Delhi before he was called back by Nitish Kumar.

There have been a few unconfirmed events for which he has been credited for spoiling the game for BJP. It is said that it was on the advice of Kishor that the Shiv Sena brokered a 50-50 deal with BJP before the Maharashtra elections. After the elections, it was on the advice of Kishor again that they demanded the Chief Ministership for half the term knowing fully well that they may break away. And then Kishor brokered a deal by virtue of which The Congress Party and the NCP supported Shiv Sena to form an alternative government leaving the biggest party, the BJP out of power.

If that was not all, Kishor has been instrumental keeping BJP out of power in Jharkhand as well. He knew how to  break the vote bank of BJP, creating smaller alternatives that create a dint on the numbers of BJP, brokered a deal among JMM, INC and RJD and thus helped them come to power. JMM with less than 18% of the total votes emerged as the biggest gainer.

If that was not all, Prashant Kishor has been very vocal against CAA as well. The recent spate of violent events that we saw was not at all random. It was pre-planned and devised properly to the core. It is believed Prashant Kishor was instrumental in disrupting the stability of the nation through these protests. More so, Kishor has been very vocal against the BJP and has openly called for defying the CAA and asked the non BJP states to not implement CAA, NRC and NPR. This incidentally contradicts with the views of his current employer, Nitish Kumar of JD(U).

If Prashant Kishor is not a force to reckon with, he is certainly not a force to ignore. It seems the mastermind of Amit Shah within BJP has been fading or he is too occupied with too many things that he is not able to give his due attention to everything. Neither are people just given postings in politics. Every post is earned through hard work and struggle. Finding a replacement of Prashant Kishor within BJP is no easy task. BJP might need far more number of Prashant Kishors to tackle this one Prashant Kishor.

While some of the actions of Prashant Kishor deserves criticism, he manages to get away as he is not dependent on the votes of the public. He becomes a lethal poison for BJP especially because he has been in the party and worked his way up right to the top to become BJP’s best strategists. He might not win elections for BJP, but he will definitely cause a dint on its numbers which may reduce saffron influence even further.

Every strategy of BJP today must include Prashant Kishor. He is a bigger threat for BJP than any of its political rival. The sooner the BJP awakens to this threat, the better it is for BJP.

BJP came as a secondary shock for BJP especially after it lost Maharashtra to alliance of Shiv Sena, NCP and the Congress Party. While a definitive majority was certainly not perceived, such a loss was also not expected either, especially when the political wind blew in favour of BJP and yet, it could not harness it.

It is easy to analyse failures but to have seen them before the failures even happen is the hallmark of a true warrior. It seems BJP was too complacent to read the wind properly. To begin with BJP got away once with Raghubhar Das, a non-tribal import to Jharkhand who somehow rose to become the chief minister. During his tenure, Jharkhand so no real development while his tenure did mark a lot of road shows for development. What was worse is the infighting that happened within BJP. Talented leaders and party workers were ignored. Babu Lal Marandi, an allay of BJP sided with the Congress party. Raghubar Das, in an attempt to create total control over the region did not give tickets to the loyalists of Arjun Munda, the tribal face of BJP, or his wife. Raghubar Das was certainly not a people’s person either. Those who met him disliked his treatment. The bureaucrats in Jharkhand were not happy with him either and felt demoralized. He had short temper and reacted harshly towards BJP workers. The worst a leader could do was not to address the problems of the aprty workers or give them time to meet. The worse was the treatment meted to Saryu Roy, a talented leader who was side-lined and was given parliamentary Affairs ministry. Later SAryu Roy was to resign from the ministry. When his ticket was put on hold, he rebelled against Raghubar Das and decided to fight the elections against him instead. Incidentally, he defeated Raghubar Das from Jharkhand East constituency.

BJP did not take its ally AJSU along very well too. AJSU may not have a powerful presence, but it may have certainly cut into the votes of BJP if not anything else.

Jharkhand Politics is all about tribal issues. The only state after Chhattisgarh where tribal politics matters is Jharkhand. Yet BJP chose to ignore the needs of the tribal population and chose to fight politics on national issues. This may have been a political suicide of BJP. Das government’s move to amend the Chotanagpur Tenancy Act (CNT) and Santhal Pargana ACT did not go well with the tribal population of Jharkhand.

There was little inclination shown from the center towards Jharkhand as well. Amit Shah and Narendra Modi campaigned too little too late. No major schemes to woo the people of Jharkhand was shown.

The biggest failure of the BJP was seen in terms of political engineering. Its own allies like JD(U) fought the elections independently. Going out all alone in Jharkhand was not a well calculated gamble. Of all the parties, BJP should have realized that it cannot ride on the wave of the election results that brought Narenda Modi government back to power in 2019 and win the state elections as well. Voters have become smart. They look at both the issues separately. State is state, center is center. The social engineering based on caste and creed has to be put to use in order to win the elections.

BJP won 25 seats. JMM won 30 and Congress won 16 while RJD won 1. The vote percentage tells almost a completely different story. BJP got 33.4 % of the votes, JMM got 19% and Congress got 14% of the votes. Yet BJP stays out of power. It shows how the JMM and Congress got the mathematics of social engineering correct. It managed to cut through the votes of BJP while gaining for themselves a good number of seats.

The role of Prashant Kishor in devising a decisive victory for Congress and JMM cannot be ignored either.

It seems after becoming the home minister, Amit Shah has been too busy with issues unrelated to the electoral battles. The new party president of BJP does not seem to have the necessary skills to navigate BJP through electoral politics.

The loss in BJP could lay down a huge blow to BJP in Bengal politics and Bihar politics.  If things are not put back into control, there is a chance that the saffron flag may soon disappear from Bihar and may wean out further in Bengal too.

It is time that the BJP reads its enemies properly and not let them off easily. A few more losses and BJP maybe left red-faced before its party workers who may lose motivation. The elections at the center may have come of age, but the state level politics still belongs to the dark ages and that is how the BJP must play its game.

On June 21st, 2019 Kabir Singh got a massive opening throughout India and the world when it was released on more than 3500 screens.

A very unconventional script and a remake of the southern hit, Arjun Reddy, little did people expect that Kabir Singh would be appreciated to such an extent. The movie begins with a documentary style of boring narration before the scene where the fight among on the football ground begins and thus begins the story of Kabir Singh, the ace medical student but a deviant personality.

I won’t go much deeper to talk about the movie. You have either already watched the movie or you know the script. And if you have not, or are not willing to watch the movie because of what people have told you then you are plainly stupid. Go and watch the movie.

The movie has received widespread criticism as well, mostly from feminist groups. They have alleged that the movie is nothing but a celebration of patriarchy, male supremacy, sexism, misogyny and chauvinism. It is rude, unfeminine and lacks the best etiquettes that should be shown by a man towards a woman.

Aaah, hurts, doesn’t it?  What was so wrong about the film that it became such a hit? Or has the Indian mindset become ‘deviant’ as well?

Or should everything on screen preach the virtues of feminism and show woman lead the way, just like the gruesome Game of Thrones which ultimately becomes a battle between two egocentric women?

Well lades, real life does not function that way. Men or women alike, unless you are in a lawless state, patriarchy or matriarchy, everything becomes a choice. If the society was largely chauvinistic, then no woman would rise, and if the society was largely matriarchal, no men would rise. Agreed, woman have to struggle. But who said it is any easier for men? Agreed woman feel unsafe? But who said men felt safe in those vulnerable areas where no one should venture out alone. On the contrary, there are so many different fields where woman have had it easy, where women alone reign supreme and men don’t even stand a chance. And as such, I have never heard men complain the same about beauty products and calling it matriarchal.

But I am deviating from the point. Let us come back to Kabir Singh, the movie. So is the rude, aggressive male character of Kabir Singh all patriarchal and chauvinistic? Yes, he is aggressive, yes he raises his hands, yes he is rude and timid. But is it to dominate the weak or is it to stand for what is right?

Kabir Singh is all that a normal good, middle class boy should not be and is not preached to be as a youngster. Kabir Singh is egoistic, aggressive and does not seem to care for the outcome as long as he does what he feels is correct. Even if it means beating up the nauseating captain of the football team. Even if it means standing up to the principal of the college where he is the topper and willing to resign. Such men cannot simply be termed as patriarchal or misogynist. He is way beyond the normal conventions of the modern society. He is a rare species which is fast disappearing in this modern day, technologically driven world. What Kabir Singh is in the movie is what we call are the ALPHA MALES. Kabir Singh is quintessentially an alpha male. One who knows how to lead from the front. One who has guts to stand for what is right and people are willing to follow him to death. When have you last met such a species? You only hear them in fairy tales or fiction. Remember Khal Drogo, the warlord of the Dothraki people?

‘Love.’ You may now smile that this guy is now going to talk about love. I admit, I might not know about the deep, philosophical roots of the word ‘Love.’ But whatever little experience I have, one thing I can tell you, ‘Love’ doesn’t come easy or cheap. ‘ True Love is a rare product. Above all Love requires strength, immense strength. Love is not for the ordinary. Love is not for the weaker heart. It requires a certain degree of madness to fall in love, to be in love, to stand by love. While men who are incapable of loving can live with the idea of physical consummation, can woman do so? Alas, women are born to be loved. Feminists may disagree. But then you are a feminist till you have fallen in love. Women fall in love too early than men do. I am not just talking about infatuation. I am talking about the actual idea of falling in love. But those women who fail to find love early in their lives soon learn to live without it. They replace love with wealth and maybe security. As long as they get a man whom they control, they feel satisfied. But deep down there, they know they long for the true love. Someone who was actually a man, someone who was actually not afraid to stand for them and be ready to fight, even if it meant they would be beaten up, someone who would make their pain hers. Instead what they get is someone who tells them to look to the other side when someone makes a pass at her on the street and tells her how she can overcome her problem and then pulls the blanket over him and goes off to sleep. Kabir Singh, despite all his flaws, knows how to be in love, madly in love. He eats his own ego and bends in front of the principal? Why? Only for the girl. He cares for her when she sick. HE fights for her when someone disrespects her dignity. He refuses to shy away from kissing even if it means the girl may slap back. Yes, he is Kabir Singh and he is the true alpha male who knows who knows how to love. Ladies, you’ve truly got it all wrong.

“But then he slaps her, doesn’t he?” a feminist might argue. Yes, he does. And he does so in a truly bad taste. But then what happens. He goes berserk. He intoxicates himself with drugs and when he comes to know she is married to someone else; he drowns himself in alcohol. Yes, he becomes wild, like a wild boar ready to hump anyone and everyone. But the girls who have him are not aware of what he exactly wants. It is clearly shown in the movie he makes his intentions very well known. For Kabir Singh, it is and was always Preeti. That is, ladies and gentleman, an alpha man for you.

Kabir Singh, in all honesty, is simply a celebration of raw, uninhibited, passionate love that did not care for consequences until family got involved and created consequences. So to the critics of Kabir Singh I have only one thing say, either you are incapable of loving someone truly, or you are unworthy of true love.

So ladies, before you lament this character called Kabir Singh further, think again. An alpha male does everything with passion. He is the best in what he does. He loves with passion. If you fall in love with an alpha male, there would be no love better than the love given to you by the alpha male. Yes, in all his perfection he is going to have his flaws. Very visible and readable flaws. But these flaws would be a very small price to pay for someone who would not only be ready to die for you, but would also be ready to kill for you. Can you live with that kind of love?
