Nankana Saheb Gurudwara Violence Highlights the urgency of the CAA Bill

In a shameful act, a radical muslim mob gathered around the Nankana Saheb Gurduwara, desecrating the religious ethos of the place and started pelting stones at the gurudwara and in the process brought damages to the holy symbol of the Sikhs. The lives of the Sikhs inside the gurudwara continued to be in danger when the MEA, India intervened and called on its counterpart in Islamabad and asked it to take swift action to end the siege of the Gurudwara.

Incidentally, a few days ago, Jagjeet Kaur, a Sikh teen in Pakistan was abducted, converted into islam and married to a local goon there. The elder brother of the kidnapper was the one who was leading the seize of the Gurudwara demanding that the name of the Nankana Saheb Gurudwara be renamed to  Gulaam-e-Mustafa.

What is worrying is the silence and inaction of the Pakistani government and administration against these Islamic radicals who continue to make lives of minorities in Pakistan a living hell. After a prolonged period of time Imran Khan releases a statement through twitter with false claims and doctored videos.

The worse part is the reaction of the congress party in India. At first Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi tried to downplay the incident when finally, Sonia Gandhi had to finally release a statement asking Imran Khan to act against the miscreants and stop the seize of the gurudwara.

Ironically, when the Nankana Saheb Gurudwara was being attacked, Mr Laughter Challenge Navjot Singh Siddhu was no where to be seen or heard and shied away from the camera refusing to give a statement.

The Nankana Saheb violence highlights the urgency of the Citizenship Amendment Act and that the government of India should take swift action to protect the lives of minorities in the neighbouring countries of Pakistan and Bangladesh.

The Nankana Saheb incident was accompanied by another violent incident. Ravinder Singh, the brother of Harmeet Singh, the first sikh anchor of Pakistan was brutally killed in Peshawar. This is nothing but an act of religious persecution. Sikhs and Hindus that are left in Pakistan are too afraid to speak up against radical muslims and fundamentalists who have been regularly persecuting minorities and abducting their daughters and forcefully converting them into Islam and marrying them off to muslims. The population of minorities has already reduced from 30% to about 2% in Pakistan. Incedetally, Khalistani leadership was seen during the siege of Nankana Saheb Gurudwara and they seemed to be supporting the radical muslims.

Let is become vocal against the anti CAA protestors and shut their mouth and ask the government to draw up an action plan to save the minorities of Pakistan. IF that is not done soon, not a single Sikh or Hindu or Christian will be left alive in Pakistan just like how all the Jews have been wiped out in Pakistan.
